On May 9, 2018, BJ got his happily-ever-after!  What a great family ... including a fur-brother named Gizmo!  What a lucky little guy!

Weight/size: 18 lbs

Housebroken:  YES

Crate trained:  YES

Personality:  happy, playful, a little guarded when meeting new people and dogs

Energy level:  medium with some bursts of high

Fenced yard required?:   YES … definitely preferred … he loves to get outside and run and explore

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  No … but we think he would really enjoy obedience and agility classes

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  Has not been around cats in foster care

Good with children:  We think he would be fine with children 8 yrs and older who are kind, gentle and respectful.

Is that a fuzzy face or what???  We see some shih-tzu and probably some Boston Terrier in the mix here ... but we're sure there's more!  Not sure what the 'more' is but it sure is cute and sweet!

This boy is playful and happy and fun to be around.  He is a clown and can make you laugh, but he really just wants to be near you.  He is a super sweet boy who really just wants to be loved and just wants to be a part of the family.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if BJ picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
