Congratulations to Foxy and her new Mom!  These two ladies are looking forward to some great times together.  AND she gets two new fur-siblings ... a pup and a kitty!

Hi … my name is Foxy and here are some things you need to know about me:

Approximate age/birthdate:  born ~2009

Weight/size: ~7 lbs

Housebroken:  NO but she will use potty pads … she is not a fan of going outside unless the weather is perfect!

Crate trained:  YES

Personality:  happy, friendly, vocal (she likes to talk), very loving

Energy level:  low (she is a world-class napper)

Fenced yard required?:   Definitely preferred

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  Learning … she had never been on a leash before coming to rescue so it is all new for her

Obedience training:  NO

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK … gets a little stressed at first         

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats: YES … she is curious about them but a bit scared of them

Good with children: Would probably be fine with older, calm, respectful children.  She does not like a lot of noise and activity and definitely no rough-housing!

This sweet little girl is lucky … she has always had someone to love her.  She ended up in rescue after her owner passed away and she has been a little love bug.  She is a spunky little girl … a bit on the fragile side due to her size.  She loves to curl up in a soft, cushy bed and do some serious napping.  She is a wonderful little companion.

Foxy had to have a full dental and now she only has 3 teeth left but she feels so much better.  And she is always first in line when it is time to eat.  She does need to get a little weight off, so portion control is necessary for her.  She is a sweet little piggy.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Foxy picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
