Hi … my name is Chase and here are some things you need to know about me:

Look at this face!  My foster mom says I am super cute and super sweet.  Not sure what all that means but I do know I love people and I love being snuggled.  I am a happy boy and just want a great family to call my own … and I really want somebody who will let me sit on their lap … a lot … Could that be you???

Approximate age/birthdate:  2016

Weight/size:  11 lbs

Housebroken:  YES … as long as you do your part and take him outside often

Crate trained:  YES 

Personality:  sometimes a little shy at first, but very sweet, loving and happy

Energy level:  Medium

Fenced yard required?:   Definitely preferred so he can have a safe place to play and explore off-leash

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  NO … but he is pretty smart so will probably learn quickly

Riding in vehicles:  Sometimes gets stressed and may get carsick.  This may improve with more car rides or there are medications available to help.     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats: Is a little intimidated by the bigger cats.

Good with children:  Seems to like children as long as they are gentle and respectful with him.

Adoption donation:  $175

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Chase picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
