Hi … my name is Sully and here are some things you need to know about me!  After you read through my bio, if you think I might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete your adoption application online.

Approximate age/birthdate:  a super senior born ~2010

Weight/size: ~15 lbs

Housebroken:  YES as long as you do your part and take him out often

Crate trained:  YES even though the crate is not his favorite place to be

Personality:  easy-going, confident, a little demanding (a bit spoiled), happy

Energy level:  medium to low … he isn’t a wild child but has plenty of spunk

Fenced yard required?:   Preferred.  If no fenced yard, he will need multiple daily leash walks

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk with manners:  YES

Obedience training:  No

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES and recently had a dental

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES … he doesn’t really ‘play’ with other dogs but he is fine sharing space with them

Social with cats:  Curious about the cats

Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.

Adoption donation:  $75

Sully is a sweet little poodle mix fella who lost his previous human.  There wasn’t anyone who wanted to give him a home so he found himself in ‘doggy jail.’  He came into a foster home and adjusted right away to a new home, new schedule.  It’s easy to see that he has known lots of love in his life, so we’re hoping there is another family out there ready to step up and welcome in to a life of much more love!  Are you interested in bringing a cute little poodle-mix boy into your world??

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Sully picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
