Are you looking for a sweet, mature lady to be your new best friend? Well sweet Buttons could be the girl for you.  She is so calm and laid back and she just wants a person or family to love her forever.  She has always been loved, but some changes in her original family made it better for her to find a new family … and she is ready to settle right in.  She is super quiet, loves to have her person close and she has very nice house manners. Could Buttons be the perfect addition to your life?

Personality: sweet, laid back, quiet

Energy level:  medium to low

Fenced yard required?:  Preferred, and she should never be allowed outside off-leash if not in a fenced area.

Obedience training:  No, but she does listen well

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK

Social with other dogs:  YES, as long as they are respectful. She prefers pups closer to her size and will just avoid the larger dogs.

Social with cats: Has not been around cats in foster care, but she would probably be friends if they wanted to be.

Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up. She does not do a lot of running and playing, so would probably not be interested in engaging in rowdy play with youngsters.

Adoption donation:  $100

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Buttons picks you too.
