He is an 11 pound chiweenie - a chihuahua/dachshund designer boy! Important things you need to know about how wonderful Nelson is: Approximate age/birthdate: 1 - 1-1/2 yrs old Weight/size: 11 lbs Housebroken: yes Crate trained: yes Personality: very social, loves to be held Energy level: very wiggly, settles down nicely to snuggle, some spurts of high energy Fenced yard required: YES Leash walk: yes Obedience training: no ... he will come when called, but that is about all Riding in vehicles: rides ok Spayed/neutered: YES Up-to-date on routine vaccinations: YES Microchipped: YES Social with other dogs: YES Social with cats: will bark at them, but is sometimes scared if they approach him Good with children: will be fine with older, respectful children but will not tolerate rough treatment or handling Other important information: Nelson is a good little guy and he will be a great companion for some lucky person. He is very loving and his favorite thing to do is to sit in your lap. He really wants to be a member of the family. You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process. We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Nelson picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is a $200 adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
