Roxie’s mom is a beautiful yellow lab and her dad is a very handsome tri-color beagle.  So … you can see where she gets her loving nature, her love of people, her love of playing with all the other pups, her curiosity, her tendency to wander off if left unsupervised, and her wonderful happy-go-lucky personality.  She is just the sweetest girl with so much love to give.  She just wants to be somebody’s baby girl.

Roxie will do best with an active family.  She also needs a lot of attention every day.  She is very social and she needs her family members to love her and play with her and teach her new things every day.  If left on her own, she will get into things she probably should not.  Her beagle curiosity and love of digging (when she’s bored) can get her in a lot of trouble with the family gardener!  She is the most gentle, happy girl ever … and being around her brings everyone a lot of joy.

If you think Roxie might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Roxie picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.

Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com or call 434 841 0411 or 540 297 1590 if you have additional questions.
