Weight/size:  35 lbs (and still growing a little more)

Housebroken: working on it

Crate trained:  YES

Personality: happy, friendly, sweet, loving, submissive, easy going

Energy level:  medium with bursts of high

Fenced yard required?:   YES – he’s a terrier and needs plenty of daily exercise so a safe place to play off-leash will be great

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’ – very smart and learns quickly … will do well in an obedience class

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK      

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  YES

Good with children:  YES

Adoption fee:  $175

Joey is just the cutest guy!  He is so happy just to be with people and he wants to have a loving family of his very own.  He will be a super addition to some lucky family.  You cannot stay around him without laughing – he is such a sweet clown.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Joey picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
