Microchipped:   NO (but will provide microchip with adoption)

Social with cats:  Will bark at them and chase them

Diesel is a fun-loving, sweet pup who really wants to have a family of his very own … again.  He's a little strong-willed and needs a strong 'pack leader' to help him hone his social skills.  He wants to be good and listens well...he just gets carried away sometimes!  Diesel had a family for almost the first 3 years of his life, and then things changed for his people and he found himself dropped off at the pound.  Seems nobody could find time for him any more … and that’s pretty sad because he is a very easy boy to live with.  He enjoys playing with his foster siblings, but he really enjoys the company of people even more.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 10-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Diesel picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
