Good with children:  Has not been around children but seems to have a balanced temperament and seems he would be tolerant of older (10 and over), respectful children.  He will not tolerate rough handling by children or adults.

Mario is just a cutie pie.  He is a sweet, happy boy even though he was found tied to a post in a parking lot – abandoned.  This little boy gets along well with all his foster siblings – including the kitties – and he responds well to love and kindness.  He loves being told he’s a good boy and he does not want his people to be mad at him.  He doesn’t like a lot of loud noises and activity around him so he will do best in a more settled household.  He has so much love to give, so if you’re looking for a great companion, he just might be your boy!

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Mario picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
