Crate trained:  YES  (really prefers not being crated)        

Personality:  sweet, loving, a little reserved, low-key, quiet

Energy level:  low

Fenced yard required?:   YES so he can get outside and get exercise and sunbathe

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’

Riding in vehicles:  Likes to ride  

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   NO

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  YES

Good with children:  Hasn’t been around children in foster home but his personality suggests that he would probably be fine with older, calm children.  He would not be comfortable in a loud atmosphere with a lot of activity.

Adoption donation: $100

Buster is just the sweetest guy.  Hard to imagine how a pup can be a loved member of a family for so many years and then find himself in a pound.  He has obviously been well cared for and loved and he loves people.  This little treasure just needs a safe and loving home where he can live the rest of his life knowing he is cherished.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Buster picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
