Let me introduce myself … I’m Roscoe and I’m a puggle (pug/beagle mix).  I’m around 3 yrs old and I weigh 16 lbs, and my foster mom says I’m just about perfect!

I am a happy guy and I’ve had a pretty good life, but right now I want to find a new family to love me forever … what would you like to know about me?

I can be goofy and playful and happy and snuggly and just an all-around good boy.  I’m housebroken and crate trained and I really like people.  I think it’s fun to run around like crazy and play in the fenced yard, but I know when it’s time to come inside I need to use my nice house manners.  I’m actually a pretty mellow kinda guy, but I can have a burst of the ‘wild child’ from time-to-time!  I do walk nicely on a leash so we can take long walks together.  I’m OK with most other dogs – as long as they are nice, too – so I can go just about anywhere with you.  I even like the cats unless they decide to try to beat me up.  I do great with older, calmer kids too!

Aside from being really cute, I’m pretty smart, too.  I know ‘sit’ and I like to go wherever my people go, so I’m learning to ride in the car.  I love to get love and snuggles and lots of attention and I’m happy to give back lots of love and snuggles, too.

I’m updated on all my vet care … I’ve gotten my shots, been neutered and I’m microchipped.  I am soooo ready to get a new family who will love me forever!  And I come with papers … Adoption Papers!

My adoption fee is $175 and I hope you think I’m worth it!  I know my forever family is out there, and as much as I love my foster family, I’m hoping to find you soon!

Note from the AAMR Adoption Committee:  We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet and home visit to see if Roscoe picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
