***SATURDAY FEB 1 LIZZIE FELL IN LOVE WITH HER NEW FOREVER FAMILY! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!***
Hi – my name is Lizzie and I may be the sweetest lab girl you’ll ever meet. My foster mom says I probably have something mixed with my lab genes, and whatever it is must be cute and cuddly.
I can be kinda crazy and goofy sometimes, but I’m still just a puppy enjoying life every day. The vet thinks I was born in the spring, maybe around May, of 2013. I’m sort of lean and petite so we’re guessing I’ll be around 55 lbs when I’m all grown up.
I wish I could talk to tell you more about my past. All my foster family knows is that I was found wandering all alone out in the country and I was taken in to safety by some nice people, but they couldn’t keep me because their dogs were mean to me … and I was so scared that I wouldn’t come out of the back of the truck. I admit it … I’m not really a brave girl, but I am super sweet, I give great kisses, and I really love running and playing with my foster doggy friends in our fenced yard. I love to run and wrestle with some of the big dogs. They’re nice to me and we can play for hours. I get along with almost all the other dogs except the ones that don’t appreciate all my puppy energy. They growl at me and I roll over on the ground. I really hope my new family has a fenced yard and maybe even another dog for me to play with. I walk OK on a leash, too, so I’m ready to go on long walks with my new people. I will be so good and I will even ‘sit’ when you ask me to. I think I might even enjoy having some kids to play with, but I’m kinda rowdy and clumsy sometimes so I might be too much for little toddlers.
I’m working really hard on the housebreaking thing and my foster mom says I am doing great. She’s so proud of me because I can sleep all night in my crate without having any accidents at all. When the weather is nice I get to spend lots of time running around in the fenced yard so I’m really tired when I come inside. Foster mom says this helps me have better house manners.
All my vet care is up-to-date and I’m already spayed and I am microchipped.
My adoption fee is $175 and I hope you’ll think I’m a bargain. I have so much love to give and I really want to go home to a family of my very own soon. Foster mom says I even come with papers … Adoption Papers!
If you’re my special person, please hurry and go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org and do the online Dog Adoption Application so we can get together soon!
Note from the AAMR Adoption Committee: We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process. We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.
When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet and home visit to see if Lizzie picks you too.
If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed. More questions …. email them to weluvpups@hotmail.com
