Our sweet Connor has finally found his happily-ever-after with his new family.  He has a new Mom and Dad who think he is precious and he has 3 K9 siblings!  What a lucky little guy and a lucky family!

Housebroken:  YES

Crate trained:  YES

Personality: very shy and reserved but loves to get affection

Energy level:  Medium to low

Fenced yard required?:   YES … it is so easy for these little ones to get lost

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  Working on it

Obedience training:  NO

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES but he is scared of the bigger dogs (understandably)

Social with cats:  Afraid of the cats

Good with children: Would probably be OK with older, calm, respectful children … definitely not a ‘dress up’ kind of chi!

Conner is just precious.  His red merle color probably made him a ‘valuable’ breeding dog and that is all he has known all his life.  He is precious … and he grunts like a little pig!  Even has a little curly tail too!  Now it is his turn to find a great family who will love him just because he is a little sweetheart.  He probably hasn’t had the best life up til now.  First thing we had to do was get him in for dental work and the little boy lost 10 teeth … they were rotten!  He came through his surgeries well and now he’s recovering and actively searching for a new family to call his very own!

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Conner picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
