Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK … gets a little stressed at first         

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES ... but she gets overwhelmed with too many dogs around.  She will do best in a home with no more than 2 other dogs. 
 
Social with cats: She’s a bit wary of the cats … but don’t think she would do anything to hurt them.

Good with children: Hasn’t been around children in foster care, but she seems to love everyone

Rosie is a retired breeder dog, AKC registered … but she can’t read so he doesn’t know.  She is a very sweet, but very shy girl who wants a family of her own to love her forever.  She doesn’t bring baggage … she has been a loved pup all her life.  Due to serious illness in the family, she is now in need of a new home.  Rosie will be happier in a calm, less active home where she can just be stress-free.  She is a super sweet little snuggler.  So what do you say?

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Rosie picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
