About Buddy (previously Noah)

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Yellow
  • Housetrained: Yes
Buddy (previously Noah) is a wonderful yellow lab boy, born March 10, 2008, and he now weighs around 60 pounds. He has the nicest manners you can imagine. He’s happy and playful, but he is also respectful. He is such a people-pleaser, so getting him to behave is really easy if you clearly and patiently let him know what you expect. Of course, when you've been gone and return he does the wag-all-over typical lab-happy greeting. He is quickly learning some basic obedience commands and he already walks well on a leash and rides well. He is doing great with housebreaking and crate training. He will do almost anything you ask if he thinks you will let him stay inside so he can be close to you. He’s great with other dogs, fine with the cats, and he just adores people. He is the poster child for lab happiness.

On Friday, Nov 28, 2008 Buddy (formerly Noah) got his biggest wish! His new forever family - Randy and Libby - found him and took him home! They love to hike and run and play with him, and we know he is a very happy boy! Since leaving AAMR, Noah has had surgery to correct a limp and according to Libby his recovery is going very well ... and he's back up to speed.
