Are you ready for cute and sweet overload? Sweet little Panchita is the poster child for all things good about Chihuahuas.  Just looking at her, we think she may be mixed ... possibly with dachshund with her long, svelte body!  She came to AAMR from a family who loved her very much, but due to work schedules they felt they didn’t have the time to give her what she needed.  They tearfully surrendered her wanting us to find the perfect home for her so she could get lots of love and attention.  It is very easy to fall in love with Panchita … she is happy and loving and just a little doll baby.  She enjoys adult people … in her foster home she hasn’t been around young children … and we think she likes it that way!  We think she will be a great addition to some lucky family!

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Panchita picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
