Fenced yard required?:   YES – definitely preferred … she loves to explore outside

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  No … but she’s very smart and trainable

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK … gets a little stressed at first

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats: Will bark at the cats

Good with children:  Has not been around children in foster care but we think she would be ok with respectful children over 10 years old

Piper is just the cutest, sweetest little girl!  She is a great companion because she LOVES people and she loves to cuddle.  She will be happiest in a home with someone who has plenty of time to love her and pay attention to her.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Piper picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
