Housebroken:  YES (as long as you do your part and let her out often)

Crate trained:  YES

Personality: sweet, happy, curious

Energy level:  medium with bursts of high

Fenced yard required?:   YES … so she can have off-leash play time safely

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk with manners:  YES

Obedience training:  No but she does listen well and is treat-motivated

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats: Will bark at them and chase them

Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.  She is a little wary of younger children

Rowdy is a sweet little girl who really just wants a forever family of her own … someone to love her and play with her.  She is pretty ‘undemanding’ … she’s just happy to be with people who are kind to her.  She can be a bit on the ‘vocal’ side when she wants something.  She came from a home with other dogs and she seems to get along with most other dogs.  Don’t you need a cute little girl in your life?

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Rowdy picks you too.
