OH HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN!  MARSHALL HAS A NEW FAMILY!

Hi … my name is Marshall and here are some things you need to know about me!  After you read through my bio, if you think I might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete your adoption application online.

Approximate age/birthdate: March 30, 2015

Weight/size: ~10 lbs

Housebroken:  YES … as long as you do your part and take him outside often

Crate trained:  YES

Personality: a little shy, a cuddlebug once he trusts you, adorable

Energy level:  low to medium

Fenced yard required?:   YES … definitely preferred.  Outside a fenced area he should never be off-leash

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk with manners:  YES

Obedience training:  NO but he likes to make his people happy

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK … gets a little stressed at first         

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES once he gets to know and trust them.  He can be a bit growly/snappy with other dogs until he decides they are OK. 

Social with cats:  Probably wouldn’t bother cats … but he might growl at them.

Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.

Adoption donation:  $175

Oh Marshall … be still my heart.  If you are looking for a sweet boy who just wants to be loved, this could be your little man.  He and his brother Oli are both sweeties, but there is just something about Marshall that will tug at your heart.  Once he is comfortable he will play and run around in the house, but he really likes to find a cushy bed or someone’s lap to snuggle up in.  Does this sound like your kind of guy?

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Marshall picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
