Oh sweet, sweet Stella!  She is just a dream pup … happy, sweet, calm, quiet, easy-going!  What is there not to love about this girl??  Through no fault of her own, Stella found herself in doggy jail.  Even the fleas know how sweet she is because when she arrived, she was missing a lot of hair off her body due to flea allergies … and even then she was happy and loveable.  With the help of some good nutrition and lots of medicated baths, Stella is growing beautiful new hair … and continues to be a first class lovebug!  Could she be the perfect addition to your family?

Approximate age/birthdate:  born ~mid 2015

Weight/size:  ~25 lbs

Housebroken:  YES as long as you do your part and take her out often
 
Crate trained:  YES

Personality:  sweet, snuggly, easy-going

Energy level:  medium … she’s pretty laid back

Fenced yard required?:   Definitely preferred so she has a safe place to explore and sunbathe off-leash

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk with manners:  YES

Obedience training:  No but she does listen pretty well

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES 
 
Social with cats: Hasn’t been around cats in foster so we do not know

Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.

Adoption donation:  $175

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Stella picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
