May 11, 2019 was the day sweet Beast found his new forever home where is loved so much!
Hi … my name is Beast and here are some things you need to know about me! After you read through my bio, if you think I might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete your adoption application online.
OK … let’s clear this up right away. Beast got his name because, in his former life, he had a sister named Beauty … Beauty and the Beast … get it? This precious little man is anything BUT a beast. He is a super sweet tiny little lovebug. When he faced some life changes he got very scared and needed some extra TLC because being loved by humans is what he loves most of all. Because he is so tiny, he tends to be nervous and anxious around too much noise and activity and especially dogs that are bigger than 25 pounds.
Beast is a blue merle Chihuahua and he has one blue eye and one brown eye. He does not seem to have vision problems but his eyes they are not ‘perfect’ and should be vet checked regularly to be aware if issues develop.

Social with cats: Has not been around cats but would probably be ok with them … or scared of them
Good with children: He may be OK with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up. He is not ‘snappy’ but he panics if he gets scared. He will be happiest in a calm, quiet home.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process. We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.
When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Beast picks you too.
If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com if you have additional questions.
