Saturday, July 18, 2009 was a PERFECT day for Rex - now named Drexel! He got his forever family which includes two great kids (who he adores) and a huge fenced yard to play in! Oh yeah ... he kinda likes his new Mom and Dad, too! I heard from Mom that he got to go on a shopping trip to Petsmart to pick out a new bed and some toys. What a lucky boy!
Rex is the most handsome American Staffordshire Terrier guy ever.He is 2 – 3 years old, weighs 45 pounds, and he could be the poster child for his breed. He is gentle and loving and the perfect gentleman. He loves children, gets along with the other foster pups, and seems to be a little scared of the cat.He is very calm and laid back.We haven’t ever heard him bark!He always looks so serious, but he is really a big baby.
Rex is housebroken and crate trained and has lovely manners. He will play with the other dogs, but he is more people-oriented.He walks well on leash and LOVES to ride.Of course, he wants to be as close to you as possible when he’s riding with you. Rex would love to find a forever home with a fenced yard where he could safely play off-leash.
Rex is neutered, up-to-date on shots, and he is heartworm negative.
