Shana is the cutest little bundle of wire-haired terrier love that you can imagine. She is like the 'Energizer Bunny' until she gets into your lap and then she just melts - and wants you to rub her belly! She is probably 18 months - 2 years old and weighs around 15 pounds, and she is definitely a high-energy kind of girl. She is housebroken and crate trained, and she is a very smart little one. She will do very well in an obedience class and would probably be the star of an agility class.

Shana is looking for an active forever family that will make sure she gets all the exercise and attention that she needs to stay happy and healthy. A fenced yard where she can run and play safely off-leash is on her Wish List.

Shana does well with other dogs (if they can tolerate her 'in-your-face' play), she ignores the cats and is fine with older children. All her energy may be a bit too much for younger or smaller children.

Shana is spayed, up-to-date on all routine vaccinations, and is microchipped.

It takes an average of 7 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Shana picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
