When we found Cronkite at a local shelter, it was hard to tell what kind of little dog was under all that matted hair. Once Ms Monica worked her grooming magic, a very handsome little poodle boy appeared. And what a sweetheart he is! Cronkite is around 2 years old and weighs about 18 pounds. He is medium-to-high energy and he loves to play with all his foster siblings. We think he really has a sense of humor! You can see the mischief in his eyes sometimes. He watches the cats, but doesn't bother them - unless they want to have a good game of chase. He is good with respectful, older children. Cronkite loves to play fetch, so he really needs a forever home with a fenced yard so he can get outside to safely get all the exercise he needs to help him stay happy and healthy. Cronkite is neutered, up-to-date on all routine vaccinations, and is microchipped. He is crate-trained and about 90% housebroken. If there is another male dog around, he occasionally feels the need to 'mark' his territory, but this is improving. With consistent correction, this behavior can be eliminated.
