Monday May 9 was Happy Day for sweet Miss B ... she got her new family and started her new life!
Hi … my name is Miss B! Please take a minute to read my entire bio to find out everything you need to know about me.
If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online.
Oh Miss B! This girl is so cute and so sweet, and she has so much love to give! And those eyes! Even when she is smiling, there is a sadness in the eyes that maybe a new forever family could take away. We do not know a lot about her past life other than she lived with other dogs, and it looks like she has had several litters of puppies. We do know that she is very loving and she enjoys snuggles and human attention. We have seen a picture of her kissing the Animal Control Officer who picked her up and took her into the shelter. She gets along fine with her foster doggy friends, but she really prefers the attention of people. This cutie is a true companion pet!
Some things Miss B really needs in her new forever home:
People who will spend time with her and make her a true family member
Approximate age/birthdate: Nov 1 2015
Weight/size: ~25 lbs
Housebroken: YES as long as you do your part and take her outside regularly. Having a consistent schedule for potty breaks makes it easier for them to be successful!
Crate trained: YES
Personality: happy, sweet, loving, very much a people-pleaser
Energy level: medium. Miss B is playful, but she is also a great snuggler.
Fenced yard required?: Definitely preferred. If you cannot take her on daily leash walks, she should have a fenced yard to safely play in. Miss B should never be outside a fenced area unless she is securely leashed.
Does he/she jump fences? NO
Leash walk with manners: She is learning. She did not seem to have any experience with leash walking previously.
Obedience training: No but she is very smart and she really wants to make her people happy.
Riding in vehicles: RIDES OK
Spayed/neutered: YES
Up-to-date on routine vaccinations: YES
Microchipped: YES
Social with other dogs: YES, she has lived with other dogs and has been good with her foster friends. Proper introductions are always necessary.
Social with cats: Has not been around cats in foster home.
Good with children: Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.
Adoption donation: $175
We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process. We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.
When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Miss B picks you too.
If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed. Please feel free to email
weluvpups@hotmail.com if you have additional questions.
