How cute is our little Sir Charles?(OK … we just call him Charlie)Blonde cocker spaniels have that very regal air about them you know, and he is no exception. He can quickly become the king of your heart! And the best part is that he is as sweet as he is cute!
And the even better part ... he is as blessed as he is cute and sweet! On Saturday, Nov 14, 2009, John and Gerri Leake drove over from Richmond with their wonderful Amber in tow to meet Charlie. And the Leakes went home being a two-blonde-cocker-spaniel family! We could not be more delighted for Charlie, Amber, John and Gerri. What a life this little boy will have now!
Charlie was picked up as a stray, so we don’t know a lot about his background, but he is about 95% housebroken and is crate-trained and he LOVES toys!Especially a particular stuffed pig that belongs to his foster mom.He is probably around a year old and weighs around 25 pounds. He is very social with people and does very well meeting new dogs.He hasn’t been around cats in rescue, but he would probably want to play with them.He walks on leash, loves to ride in the car and he would love to have a new family with a great fenced yard where he could play safely off-leash.
Charlie is still a puppy so he has some bursts of high energy and that energy might be a bit overwhelming for young children. He will do well with older children who treat him with respect. He really will do best with a family who will include him in their activities and spend lots of time with him.Cockers are very social pups and they need to be a member of the family.
Charlie is neutered, up-to-date on all routine vaccinations, and is microchipped.
