Sugar and her friend Tasha were found at an area dumpster site.Tired, hungry and looking for a friendly face, Sugar jumped up in the truck of a wonderful, kind-hearted lady. What a wonderful, friendly, loving pup she has turned out to be.She is getting back up to a healthy weight at around 40 pounds. She looks like a shepherd mix of some sort … maybe a Samoyed mix. We’re wondering if she was born with the ¾ tail or if there was some sort of accident.
Although Sugar prefers staying insde, she would love get a new family with a fenced yard where she could play safely. She is a very smart girl and learns quickly so she will quickly learn what is expected of her, and she wants to make you happy. She gets along great with her foster pup siblings, will bark at the cats, and seems to be fine with calm, respectful children. You need to meet this sweet girl to appreciate how wonderfully sweet she really is.
Sugar is spayed, up-to-date on all routine vaccinations, and is microchipped.
If you think Sugar might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.
It takes an average of 7 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.
When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Sugar picks you too.
If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
