Mollie is a beautiful 4-year-old Boxer girl.  She is fawn with a black mask.  Mollie was raised from a puppy on a farm.  She had a litter of pups before she was 2 years old.  As with many boxers, Mollie has a very high prey drive and she has killed chickens and a cat.

Mollie is currently with a wonderful foster family, but they are not able to keep her because they already have 2 senior dogs and Mollie’s energy is too much for them.  Her foster mom is working with her on basic obedience and trying to make sure she gets enough exercise daily.  They are also getting all her vaccinations up-to-date. 

Mollie, true to her breed, is very high energy and definitely needs an owner who is experienced with high-energy dogs and who will be a strong ‘pack leader.’   She would love to be part of an active family that would take her hiking or jogging regularly.

Mollie definitely needs a new forever home with a fenced yard and probably no other pets.  She might be OK with other dogs, but her foster mom says she cannot guarantee that.   She is fine with all people - men, women, and children.  In previous homes she has been with toddlers to older children and done very well with them.

It takes an average of 7 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Mollie picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
