Crate trained:  YES

Personality:  an alpha female, happy, playful                    

Energy level:  medium

Fenced yard required?:   YES

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  None

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK      

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  YES – a little intimidated by them

Good with children:  Has not been around children while in foster care but seems like she would be fine with respectful, older children

Adoption donation: $175

The previous owner indicated that Mocha is an alpha female but the foster family has only found one other female that she has any issue with and she has responded well to correction.  As with all dogs, she should be introduced to new dogs properly and not left unsupervised.  She is an absolutely joyful dog!

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Mocha picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
