Skittle is just a cute, sweet little girl.  Mom is a Chihuahua, Dad is a JRT and she seems to have gotten the best of both.  She is relatively calm for a puppy and, with a little work, we think she will become a well-trained, well-mannered, polite member of your family.  She is a bit of a chewer but if you give her appropriate things to chew on, she does fine.  She loves people and will want to be included in all your family activities.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Skittle picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
