Mandy, now named Pippa, is celebrating the holiday season with a family of her very own!  Thanks Kailen and Andrew for loving this little girl and welcoming her into your family!

Crate trained:  YES

Personality:  happy, playful, a little reserved, submissive, sweet, still very puppy-like

Energy level: medium with bursts of high

Fenced yard required?:  PREFERRED – she is young and needs space to safely run and play off-leash

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES

Social with cats:  YES

Good with children:  Hasn’t been around children in foster care but has been fine with them at events

Mandy is just the sweetest little girl ever.  She is cute and loving and she just wants to be loved … and in return she will love you with all her heart.  She seems to be comfortable in a family situation so we think she was someone’s loved pet, but she was found abandoned in a campground.  Such a sad situation for such a sweet little girl.  She's great with other dogs and loves cats ... especially black cats ... so we think she may have lived with cats previously.  She really, really, really wants a family of her very own!

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Mandy picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
