Good with children: Would probably be OK with older, calmer children.  Too much loud activity would be intimidating for her.

Raine and her friend Hope were puppy mill dogs and a previous owner rescued them from that awful world.  She is a sweet, happy girl who wants to live her life with a family she can call her own.  She has so much love to give and she would love to spend lots of time sitting in your lap.  She’s not a big fan of loud noises and a lot of activity … she just wants to relax. Oh, by the way, Hope and Raine would love to find a forever home together … they’re best buddies and almost inseparable.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Raine picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
