Breed mix:  possibly shepherd mix

Color:  black with tan markings

Approximate age/birthdate:  born ~September 2013

Weight/size:  21 lbs at 5 months – possibly 60 pounds when grown

Housebroken:  working on it

Crate trained:   working on it

Personality: bouncy, friendly, happy, energetic

Energy level: high (she’s a puppy!)

Fenced yard required?:  Preferred as she does need exercise

Does he/she jump fences?  No

Leash walk:  Yes

Obedience training/knows any commands?:  No

Riding in vehicles:  Rides OK      

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  Yes – plays rough, so not all dogs appreciate her enthusiasm

Social with cats:  Wants to play with them

Good with children: Has not been around children but we think she would be fine with older children.  Her energy and size might overpower younger children

Adoption donation:  $175

Other important things you need to know about Tilley:  She and her sister Teegan were found wandering in a rural area.  Tilley settled easily into a new foster home and just seems to be happy all the time.  She loves people and is always ready to play.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your reference checks are completed and your application is tentatively approved, we will schedule a home visit and a meet-and-greet to see if Tilley picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption contract to be signed and a requested adoption donation.
