Housebroken:  YES

Crate trained:  YES

Personality: an outgoing, happy little guy … wants to be with you all the time

Energy level:  medium to low

Fenced yard required?:   YES  (and he has been trained to an underground fence)

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   NO but we can provide the microchip

Social with other dogs:  YES if he is properly introduced.  He is good with most small dogs but he will try to challenge some larger dogs.

Social with cats:  He is curious about them

Good with children: Older, respectful children – generally seems to like children

Adoption donation:  $175

Patches has lived a great life and he has only known love and being spoiled.  Circumstances have made it impossible for his family to keep him so they asked us to rehome him for them.  He is pretty happy-go-lucky and seems to adapt to change readily.  He’s still a little confused right now having to leave the only family he has ever known.  He likes to be close to people, doesn’t really trust larger dogs. He does like to get up on the bed to take a nap!

He is just a super little guy and we know he will be the perfect addition to just the right family.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Patches picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
