Sometimes you just need to let the beauty speak for itself! Mia always has a serious, worried look on her face, and she is quite the observer! Mia is a super sweet little girl, but she doesn’t give kisses and doesn’t want you to get in her face. She will stretch as far as she can to keep her personal space. But she LOVES to be held. She will come and ask you to pick her up! Her coat is stunning and very luxurious. She won’t require a lot of grooming, but will require daily brushing to keep the mats out of the coat. She has always been around a lot of other small dogs, but we think she will thrive in a home where she can be an only child or where she has one or two other small-to-medium, well-mannered pups to play with.
If you think Mia might be the perfect pup for you, please go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.
We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process. We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.
When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Mia picks you too.
If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
