Personality:  wild and crazy little clown … loves attention 

Energy level:  medium to high but calms when needed

Fenced yard required?:  YES so he has a safe place to run off-leash

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’ but is usually too wiggly to listen well

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK … gets a little stressed at first         

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES though his energy and lack of manners may annoy older pups

Social with cats:  plays too rough for most cats 

Good with children: would probably be fine with children 10 and over but his energy may be overwhelming for younger children

Charlie is a little white snowball of a clown.  He always looks like he’s happy and he’s always looking for something to get into.  He likes other dogs but his social skills are still being ‘polished.’  He is a rowdy little boy who believes his sole purpose in life is to play, play, play.  He was originally purchased from a pet store, but the family’s circumstances changed and they could not afford to keep him, so they surrendered him to an area animal control facility.  He was a loved member of the family.  Now he needs a new family to love him forever!

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Charlie picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
